Additionally, the company offers door-to-door collection and delivery options to customers, albeit at an extra cost. The Priority Cargo segment specializes in door-to-door delivery services. GWS extends its transportation services to 24 States and 5 Union Territories, covering major cities and towns throughout India. With a network comprising 1188 branches and franchisees, we distinguish ourselves from competitors through our extensive service network and our capability to provide door-to-door services using company-owned vehicles. Our offerings include billing, collection, load tracking, as well as pickup and delivery services. Leveraging company-owned vehicles ensures the safest possible transit for shipments, minimizing instances of theft, pilferage, and damage.
Courier Service Business
We provide Courier services tailored for time-sensitive documents and packages. All major destinations are serviced through collaborations with other operators. Operating across 130+ towns and cities, our Courier business caters to both walk-in customers and commercial clients. We offer pick-up services directly from customers’ locations and ensure timely door-to-door delivery. It’s important to note that in compliance with Indian regulations, we do not handle mail or letters. Our service spectrum in this domain includes guaranteed time-bound deliveries of documents and packages, along with local ground transport for hand-deliveries.
Full Truckload Services (FTL)
We offer Full Truck Load (FTL) services to our clientele, utilizing our extensive array of designated branches and through collaboration with independent brokerage agents. Our FTL service entails seamless door-to-door delivery, where goods are loaded onto our vehicles at the customer’s premises and transported to the designated destination. Primarily utilized by manufacturers with substantial quantities of goods, this service operates at a predetermined rate. Generally, we extend FTL services to optimize our vehicle capacity utilization or to clients offering favorable margins. We maintain a network of longstanding independent brokerage agents who complement our branch network by expanding access to customers in need of FTL services.
Other Capabilities
In addition to its core goods transport services, we possesses capabilities for vehicle (car) transportation and liquid transport. Upon specific client requests, we also undertake the transportation of specialized cargo such as delicate testing equipment, high-voltage testing equipment, control panels, circuit breakers, automobile chassis frames, extra-wide cabins, glass, high-capacity transformers, and more.
